Report: Bears And Packers Favorites To Land DE Khalil Mack.

"The NFL season is just around the corner and the Oakland Raiders have yet to come to an agreement with their star defensive end Khalil Mack. Mack is currently holding out of training camp because the team still hasn't offered him an extension. The 27 year old still has one year left on his deal with a base salary of $13.8million, currently placing him as the fourth highest paid defensive end. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported earlier this week that talks between the two sides were pretty much dead and Mack would face a fine of $1.6million for missing Week 2 of the preseason. The 2017 defensive player of the year would accept signing a long term deal with Oakland, but according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport the two sides haven't talked about a contract since last February. OddsShark released their odds as to which team Mack will be on after the trade deadline and while the Green Bay Packers are at the top of the list, the Chicago Bears rank second, ahead of the Raiders.
