Keenan Allen's lack of speed should concern Chicago Bears fans
Keenan Allen was a solid pick up for the Chicago Bears in the offseason, however, his NFL training camp performance has left a lot of fans concerned.
Last week, we reported on how Allen has gained over 20 pounds and has looked slow during training camp. Well, in new game tape from the Bears' match against Cincinnati Bengals over the weekend, Allen is looking much worse. As you can see in the analysis below, he was lagging behind, and was absolutely a no-show on the field. He can't seem to keep up and it's not letting him gain separation.
While Allen has never been about speed, this is still not good. He is considerably slower than he usually is. Perhaps injuries and his weight gain have caught up to him. Whatever the case may be, fans might just have to be cautious, moving forward.
