Pro Football Focus (PFF) has been steadily releasing their top-10 rankings for all NFL positions throughout the offseason.
Recently, they unveiled their top-10 guard duo rankings, and the Bears' pair of Teven Jenkins and Nate Davis made the cut, securing the eighth spot. Individually, Jenkins was ranked No. 16 and Davis No. 26 among guards. This recognition from PFF is a notable highlight for the Bears.
In addition to their guard duo, PFF also ranked the Bears' tackle pair, Braxton Jones and Darnell Wright, in their top 10. Furthermore, the Bears' linebacker duo of Tremaine Edmunds and T.J. Edwards was also featured in PFF's top 10 linebacker duos.
However, despite these individual and positional accolades, PFF views the Bears as a bottom-half team overall, ranking them as the 20th-best team in the NFL and predicting a season with eight or fewer wins.
Regarding his future with the team, Teven Jenkins acknowledged the uncertainty surrounding his contract negotiations. He mentioned that his agent has reached out to the Bears about an extension, but "nothing is on the table" yet, leaving his future in Chicago "up in the air."
