Bears Doing Something The Team Hasn't Done Since 1968.
"The Chicago Bears are enjoying some success across many areas this season and it keeps showing up in more stats. While the Bears sit as NFC North Champions, it's been because everybody's working together on the same page. This past weekend both quarterback Mitch Trubisky and running back Tarik Cohen topped 400 rushing yards on the season.Combine that with running back Jordan Howard's 773 rushing yards, the team has three 400 yard rushers for the first time in a season since 1968 when Gale Sayers had 856, Ronnie Bull 472 and Brian Piccolo 450. Going into this weekend, it's also interesting to note that Trubisky only needs 186 passing yards to becoming the sixth Bears QB in history to throw for 3000 yards in a season along with Erik Kramer, Jay Cutler, Rex Grossman, Billy Wade and Jim Harbaugh.With Trubisky and Cohen both topping 400 yards rushing last week & Howard leading the team with 773, it marks the first time the #Bears have had 3 players rush for at least 400 yards in a season since 1968: Gale Sayers (856), Ronnie Bull (472), Brian Piccolo (450). @StatsBySTATS
