"The Chicago Bears and general manager Ryan Pace addressed the team's tight end issues this offseason by signing Jimmy Graham. While the move has come with plenty of criticism, some believe he's a perfect fit for head coach Matt Nagy's system. With Trey Burton not living up to his pay check and Adam Shaheen just not seeming to be a fit, the reports indicate the Bears will draft a tight end. According to Zack Pearson of CBS Sports, the Bears already have a top target which they've had three meetings with so far. Purdue's Brycen Hopkins is that prospect. The 6'4" 241lb Purdue product had a pretty good showing at the NFL combine with a 4.66 40 time. He's projected to go somewhere in the 3rd to 5th round after registering 830 yards and seven touchdowns this past season.
If my count is correct, that's 3 meetings with the #Bears. Senior Bowl, Combine and now Video call. https://t.co/ZCgFwlBUh2 — Zack Pearson (@Zack_Pearson) April 7, 2020
