"There's one thing that absolutely every single Chicago Bears' fan wants to see done this offseason. Replace kicker Cody Parkey. His missed kick in the playoffs was just one of many factors that lost the team the game, however it's one that leaves a sour taste in the mouths of all Bears' fans. Add to the fact Parkey somehow managed to hit the goal post four times in the same game earlier this season, everybody is done with him. Bears general manager Ryan Pace wouldn't confirm but did hint that they would be looking for replacements and that officially begins today. Adam Schefter reports that the Bears will work out former New York Jets kick Nick Folk today. Folk has been a pretty consistent kicker throughout his career but had a rough ending when he missed three field goals on Thursday Night football in 2017 and was subsequently placed on injured reserve with a "minor injury". Folk would stay on injured reserve until he was released by the Bucs in 2018.
