"It's official, after just one season Mike Glennon's time with the Chicago Bears has come to an end. General manager Ryan Pace confirmed on Wednesday that the Bears will release the quarterback at the start of the new league year on March 14.Pace signed Glennon to a three year deal totalling $45million last offseason. Very soon after signing the contract, the Bears surprised many, including Glennon, by trading up to the #2 overall pick in the draft to put their hands on quarterback Mitch Trubisky. Glennon opened the season as the Bears starting QB, but he struggled and eventually Trubisky stepped in to take over the starters role. Glennon lead the Bears to a 1-3 start and threw four touchdowns and five interceptions.
