The Chicago Bears defensive staff is slowly coming together. The team announced their new defensive back coach and they've decided to go young with a former NFL player. Deshea Townsend joins the Bears replacing Ed Donatell who jumped ship to the Denver Broncos to join Vic Fangio and his new staff in Denver. Recently Townsend was an assistant defensive backs coach with Giants and also worked for the Titans, Cardinals and Mississippi State in the last couple of years. During his playing career Townsend played for both the Steelers and Colts and racked up a couple of Super Bowl rings in the process. Townsend wasn't the only addition Friday as the team also announced Ronell Williams as their defensive quality control coach.
