The show however, has a couple of rules:
1) The team cannot have a 1st-year head coach
2) The team cannot have a playoff berth in the past 2 seasons.
3) The team has yet to appear on "Hard Knocks" in the past 10 years.
Looking at all of the teams for this season, that leaves us with only 4 options: the New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, Washington Commanders, and Chicago Bears. Who would fit best for this season?
The Jets seem like the obvious choice, as Aaron Rodgers has just joined them in one of the biggest signings in the past decade. However, it seems like the team is not interested. Jets cornerback Justin Hardee tweeted this:
So if the Jets are out, could we be seeing the Bears featured? The Bears' are coming off one of their worst seasons yet with a 3-14 record. But, it could be really good for TV, as the show will showcase what they are doing to change and how they will improve. Focusing on Justin Fields, DJ moore, and Tremaine Edmunds, the Bears could make for some interesting TV.
Bears fans, what do you think? Will this be a distraction to the team, or do you want to see your favorite players on the big screen?
