Colin Kaepernick gets a chance to show off

Field Yates has announced that free-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick is holding an exhibition throwing event on Saturday. This has the goal to show off in front of attending NFL scouts during halftime of Michigan's spring game. Some draft-eligible receivers will also be working out with him.

Kaepernick has been very vocal on Twitter in the past few weeks saying he was working out and was deserving of another shot in the NFL. He recently worked out with seahawks receiver Tyler Lockett and Lockett was very impressed and said Kaepernick was ready.

Colin Kaepernick is one of the most controversial names in the NFL right now and has been for the past couple of years. The opinions are divided on him but what matters the most is if he actually has the ability to lead an NFL team.

Teams like the Seahawks and panthers could be interested but would they pull the trigger on a deal? They are in desperate need of a quarterback but are there better options available elsewhere?
