Kevin Fishbain reported a very interesting quote from Mooney about his conditioning and his work ethic.
I know that at first glance, taking a page from Antonio Brown's book might not be great. However, if there is one thing that is for sure, Antionio Bown was one of the hardest-working players in the NFL for years. He went from being a 6th-round pick to being one of the all-time best receivers. Brown was also known to always sprint to the line of scrimmage following huddles, especially during practices. This helped a lot for his conditioning. Of course, his career got derailed due to his mental issues, but that's neither here nor there.
As for the Cooper Kupp point, his final Super Bowl drive was magnificent. Kupp caught four passes for 39 yards on the game-winning drive, converted a fourth-and-1 with a 7-yard run and drew three penalties near the goal line to set the stage for his game-winning catch. It was a fitting end to one of the greatest seasons and postseason runs ever for a player, at any position.
Here is to a very bright future for Darnell Mooney!!
