"The Chicago Bears got a bit of a boost this week with their salary cap situation when Kyle Long restructured his contract with the team. Along with cutting Dion Sims and Cody Parkey, it'll free up some cap space and now we know the details on what exactly Long gave to the Bears. According to Field Yates of ESPN, Long agreed to drop his base salary to $2.5million with bonuses/incentives bringing his cap hit to $5.6million for next season.
