The Bears have a lot of needs. One of the biggest ones is at the wide receiver position. Besides Darnell Mooney, they don't have a single player that should be a quality starter in the NFL.

This morning, another player made headlines. It was Cleveland Browns' receiver Jarvis Landry. He posted a series of tweets tuesday morning noting that he played through some injuries last year and evoked questions about his future in Cleveland.

Here is what he said: "Reality behind all this is I came back to play in the best shape of my life, I got hurt week 2 with a high-grade MCL Sprain, Partial quad tear and bone bruise." He then added: "Then came back way to (explicit) early and ended up staying hurt the entire season. You never heard me mention anything about it."

This can be an explanation as to why he struggled so much in 2021. He had the worst year of his career, statistically. He hauled in 52 receptions for 570 yards and 2 touchdowns.

However, in my mind, the most interesting part of his tweets was when he said: "I have put the ball in CLE court by telling them I would like to stay but if not then I'm confident enough in myself to be a better healthy me this year and moving forward to helping do my part in winning a championship elsewhere."

This hints at a potential breakup with him and the Browns.

I think he would be an amazing pickup for a team like the Bears. Landry is a natural-born leader. He has some of the most reliable hands in the league. While he may not be the best deep threat, he can make some crucial catches at any given time. Landry would compliment Mooney so well in Chicago. He is, in my mind, one of the best receivers on third-down situations. He is also probably the best run-blocking receiver in the league. He brings a physicality to the position that we truly don't see around the NFL nowadays. Those are all great reasons why Ryan Poles should make a huge push to try and bring him because he would be an amazing addition. Landry is definitely a player that makes winning football plays on Sundays.

Check out this great catch and then this amazing VIOLENT block!
