Former Bears Quarterback Reveals Best Destination for Justin Fields if they Trade him
One of the biggest storylines so far this offseason is around what the Bears will do with their QB situation. Will they stick with Justin Fields or will they draft a QB and trade Fields away?
When chiming in on the possible trade talks, former Bears QB Chase Daniel revealed the 3 best destinations for Fields if he were to be traded:
As shown, Daniel believes that the Raiders, Steelers, or Falcons would be the best destinations for Fields.
The Raiders have expressed widely that they are in need of a new QB, but with them hiring former Bears OC Luke Getsy as their OC, I don't see Fields joining them. Fields and Getsy had a what seemed to be like a rocky relationship, so I don't see these two reuniting.
The Steelers has been a top name for Fields in the past few weeks, especially after a report came out about HC Mike Tomlin expressing his interest in Fields. The Steelers are looking for another QB to come in and compete with Kenny Pickett, and Tomlin is eyeing Fields.
And with the Falcons, this has been the most popular destination for him for a while now. The Falcons have a young and exciting team, both on the offense and defense, but are desperate for a new QB. Not to mention, Fields was born and raised in Georgia, so this would bring him closer to his hometown.
If the Bears do decide to trade Fields away, I see them aiming towards the Falcons over both the Raiders and Steelers.
