The Chicago Bears' run game is struggling, some would even call it nonexistent.Starting running back Jordan Howard who was expected to put up some big numbers with former head coach John Fox gone hasn't done that yet. Howard is averaging 3.5 yards per carry which ranks him 41st in the league. Howard was asked about the run game and it's disappointing results on Tuesday. «We're definitely confident in coach and his offense,» he said. «Just gotta give it time. It's gonna work. We just gotta be patient. Just gotta stick to what we know. Everybody's gotta execute. Can't be one person messing up. I gotta do what I gotta do to get the running game going. We just have to stick with it.»The 3.5 yards per carry is generous considering Howard has actually had three games this year where he averaged 2.5 yards or worse. With the Bears airing the ball out so much, Howard feels the success will eventually come. «I feel like that will make success on the run game easier,» Howard said, «Because we got those pass lanes open so they can't load the box up and things like that.» Do you think Howard is bound to breakout?
