One thing to remember, it's just the preseason. The Chicago Bears were supposed to be one of the most improved teams in the NFL however on Thursday the Cincinnati Bengals looked like that team. The scored made the game look closer than it was as the Bengals walked away with a 30-27 win. There was a play early on in the game, on the Bears first possession to be exact, that had Bears fans nationwide throwing up their arms. Mitch Trubisky locked in with Kevin White for a third down pass, that White dropped. «Those are routine plays,» White said. «Sometimes the easiest plays can be the hardest. It takes a little more focus. I just need to catch the ball and get the yards I can get.» «I'm trying to get better each and every day,» White said. «I'm trying to make the easy plays easy. Sometimes I can let plays get away.»White and Trubisky worked hard during the offseason together and Trubisky isn't going to let that one play stop him from looking for White on the field. «He knows I have a lot of confidence in him. And we put in a lot of work. And we work too hard to let one dropped pass bother us like that. So we move on. And it's gotta be better this week, and it will.» With the Bears signing Allen Robinson and Taylor Gabriel this offseason along with drafting Anthony Miller, there's not going to be much room for White's mistakes if he wants his fair share of touches.
