Fangio interviewed for the position however didn't land the job. After lots of speculation, Fangio decided to stick around and stay on as defensive coordinator under new head coach Matt Nagy. It was a great decision for everybody involved as the defense has become one of the most dominant in the NFL. With such success, more chatter has grown about Fangio leaving for a head coaching gig next year.
