After the Broncos traded for Russell Wilson before the 2022 season, it looked like the right move. The trade involved the Broncos giving up 3 players and 5 draft picks. Back then, the trade made more sense, but now...it looks awful.
Wilson was once one of the best players in the NFL. He is a 9-time Pro Bowler, the 2017 NFL passing touchdowns leader, and a Super Bowl champ. He was having himself a hall of fame career, but then this trade happened, and he had the worst season of his career. Throwing only 16 touchdowns in 15 games, along with getting sacked a career high of 55 times, Wilson is looking mediocre. Of course, not all of this is his fault. He was put into a terrible system, but, stars are supposed to change teams like these.
