Packers price for Aaron Rodgers has been revealed

It's no secret that the Packers have been shopping Rodgers, and now, the trade rumors have intensified as the New York Jets emerge as the front-runners to land the future Hall of Famer. Insiders have just revealed the long-awaited asking price for the 38-year-old QB, and the NFL world is holding its collective breath to see if the Jets will pull the trigger on this blockbuster deal.
Reports indicate that desired compensation on the Packers' end is slowly creeping in," said Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports on the Wilde and Tausch show.
"According to the Packers, they are searching for a second-round pick in the upcoming NFL draft and a 2024 first-round pick, and they are holding out for what they want right now. And that's a problem with the Jets and more specifically Jets ownership."
Robinson further noted that the Packers have offered to send the Jets a 2025 draft asset if Rodgers decides not to play beyond the 2023 season, given Rodgers' recent comments about retirement. However, the Jets are hesitant to trade a substantial haul for Rodgers, fearing a situation similar to the Denver Broncos with Russell Wilson.
