"The Chicago Bears have dealt with some headache players before and luckily right now the roster seems free of them. Stories pop up around the NFL which makes Bears' fans happy to have general manager Ryan Pace around and we've just seen another one surface. Just a couple of days after Oakland Raiders receiver Antonio Brown burned the bottom of his feet, he's now threatening to quit football all together. According to Adam Schefter, Brown is threatening to retire from the NFL if he can't wear his old football helmet model. Players have been forced to switch models for safety reasons and the Raiders have been trying to work with Brown and have sent him multiple new models approved by the NFL to try out. He wants nothing to do with any of them and wants his old one or will retire.
And now this: Raiders' WR Antonio Brown has told team officials that, unless he gets to wear his old helmet, he will not play football again, per league sources. And more.... — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) August 9, 2019
