The Chicago Bears will be looking for a couple of ways to free up some extra cap space heading into the offseason. From the sound of things, they've already decided on a way to free up $6million in cap space. According to NBC Sports JJ Stankevitz, the Bears are set to release tight end Dion Sims. As we've mentioned before, after touching the ball in Week 1 of the season Sims was basically useless the rest of season. With both Trey Burton and Adam Shaheen expected to be healthier in 2019 and produce more, Sims won't be missed at all. Now in his third season with the team, Shaheen will be expected to be involved in a lot more action.
