Well it looks like the worst case scenario came true. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Chicago Bears right guard Kyle Long is expected to miss a minimum of 6-8 weeks due to his foot injury suffered on Sunday. The NFL insider states that the time line is the "best estimate" and more information should be available over the next couple of hours. Long was beaten down and bruised up last year and has found himself on season-ending injured reserve in both 2016 and 2017. During this past offseason Long had neck, shoulder and elbow surgery. For now Erik Kush is likely to keep his spot at left guard while head coach Matt Nagy expects to rotate between James Daniels and Bryan Witzmann at right guard.
