The NFL season is months away, but there's still plenty to talk about regarding the Chicago Bears. With Ryan Pace's acquisition of Nick Foles, the Bears now have two quarterbacks along with Mitch Trubisky. A couple of weeks ago Pace said that Trubisky was the team's unquestioned starter. On Friday Pace spoke to the media about his free agency moves and had a change in stance. "With the addition of Nick Foles it's exactly what we talked about from the start we want to create competition. We've talked to both players and it's an open competition."
Head coach Matt Nagy was also speaking with the media and spoke on the QB situation. "What we're trying to do is what's best for the Chicago Bears. Plain and simple. It's going to be very transparent and very honest."
Nagy is trying to be straight forward and already spoke with Trubisky. "You could feel how much of a competitor Mitch is. He's embracing it and he's excited to get back to work."
Nagy did add that he feels Foles is a "special person". Take it for what it's worth.
