After firing head coach John Fox, Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Pace went for a "all out" type offseason. Many believe that Pace went above and beyond this offseason signing Allen Robinson, Taylor Gabriel, Trey Burton and matching the Packers Kyle Fuller offer sheet. He had a pretty good draft as well, headlined with the Roquan Smith pick followed by trading up for Anthony Miller. "It's been aggressive, a lot of work has been done, very exciting and energizing," he said at Bears training camp according to NBC Sports Chicago. "There's a lot of new pieces and it's really neat to see the assets come together."
Of course one of the biggest moves was finding Fox's replacement in Matt Nagy. Nagy has never been a head coach before in the NFL and it's a bit of a dice roll for Pace, and with all the big moves, Pace's tenure could end up being defined by this one specific offseason.
