"Chicago Bears general manager Pace was a guest on the team's official pregame show on WBBM 780 AM prior to Saturday's uninspiring 20-10 loss at the Detroit Lions. Pace was pretty optimistic about Mitch Trubisky after his performance last week against the Cincinnati Bengals. "I really think the entire season has been a steady growth process for him, said Pace. «I think if we look back on any successful quarterback's rookie season you're going to see highs and lows, and what's important is that each game he goes through he's experiencing different situations and new environments and that he just continues to learn from those experiences. Really overall I thought the entire offense played well against the Bengals. I thought the coaches did a good job of orchestrating a very balanced attack."Unfortunately Trubisky and the Bears offense took a step backwards on Saturday afternoon. After throwing just 4 interceptions in his first nine starts, Trubisky was picked off three times by the Lions. You can listen to the entire Ryan Pace interview in the video below. "
