Shocking: Pittsburgh Steelers have Hired Former Controversial Falcons Coach as their New Offensive Coordinator

As revealed earlier today, it has been announced that the Steelers will be hiring former Falcons HC Arthur Smith as the teams new OC:

Smith was the Falcons HC from 2021-2023, and after going 7-10 in all 3 years, along with many controversial on and off-field moments, the team decided to fire him.

The Steelers fired their OC Matt Canada in the middle of the 2023 season due to sloppy play calling and issues with the players. After this firing, the Steelers flipped their team around and were able to make it to the playoffs.

This hiring of Smith is shocking, as many of his controversies were due to his questionable offensive play calling, along with not using his first-round pick in a useful way.
