The best free-agent left on the market is longer available. Terron Armstead signed a 5-year deal worth a whopping $75 million, plus incentives with the Miami Dolphins per Adam Schefter.

I know some Bears fans wanted Ryan Poles to try to pick him up. However, I really think it would have been a mistake. Armstead is one of the best players at his position in all of football. He can really be a game-changer upfront. But, he is currently 31 years of age and has never played more than 15 games in a season. In fact, he has missed 23 games in the past 5 years for some context. In addition to that, his contract is simply massive. Let's just say that signing him for 5 years and over $15 million annually is very risky.

The Bears will now have to focus on the second wave of free agency. Don't get me wrong, there is still a lot of good, talented player available. The best remaining offensive linemen on the market are:

T Duane Brown

C J.C Tretter

T Eric Fisher

T Riley Reiff

G Ryan Bates
