After Chiefs minicamp, star TE Travis Kelce was asked some questions at a press conference. One of the questions was if Kelce thought about retiring some time soon, and Kelce said no.
While on his podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother, Kelce explained that he will not be retiring anytime soon and that he will be playing "until the wheels fall off."
Travis Kelce is a 2-time Super Bowl champ, an 8-time Pro Bowler, and a member of the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team. He is one of the best in the game, and maybe even the best tight end of all time. With many records set by him, along with an incredible stat record, we could be calling him the TE GOAT one day.
With his stats already being some of the best we have ever seen, does he need to prove himself still? Does he need more Super Bowls and Pro Bowls? Or do we already view him as a Hall of Famer and the TE GOAT? I don't think we need to see more from him, but if he wants to continue playing then that just means more fun for all of us who get to watch him play!
