Devin Hester is easily the greatest kick and punt returner in the history of the NFL and on Friday night, he got into the Football Hall of Fame.
It was a long time coming for Hester, and Bears fans were waiting for him to get the honor. Well, it turned out to be an emotional evening as shown in the clip down below. Hester was overcome with emotion, and he received a standing ovation from those who were in attendance.
Hester got his gold jacket and was even given a bust for his efforts. The Pro Football Hall of Fame continues to be the gold standard for football players. That is where they want to end up, and it is most certainly the biggest accomplishment any player can receive, outside of a Super Bowl.
