Since leaving the New England Patriots after over 20 years with the team and 6 super bowl wins, legendary coach Bill Belichick still remains jobless.
Despite not being hired this season, it looks like Belichick will likely end up with a job next season as at least 3 teams have shown some clear interest in the hall of fame coach.
He's everywhere. We should appreciate it, too, because a Hall of Fame coach in his prime doing all the media that Belichick is doing probably won't ever happen again. But it's quite clear he's coming back in 2025 if the right opportunity presents itself.
The first team that could go after Belichick for their next head coach is the Jacksonville Jaguars who are currently 0-3 and continue to waste Trevor Lawrence's prime years. Bringing in someone like Belichick could help them turn the team around in a major way with his expertise.
Belichick would fit really well here in terms of what he's looking for. The Jaguars results don't match up with Khan's ownership style. He delegates to football people and is patient. Belichick would have the personnel control he wants, a potential franchise quarterback with plenty of untapped potential and he would maximize the defensive talent. In a division that isn't taking a leap the way we thought, this could work really well.
The Cowboys are another option and likely the top team to land Belichick as current head coach Mike McCarthy has failed on numerous occasions to get the job done. With their incredible amount of talent, the Cowboys could be a serious team with a legendary coach like Belichick.
Finally the Giants, they have failed to be relevant since Eli Manning retired and are looking to turn the page on these past few years and a new head coach might be just what they need.
