"We've finally got some good news regarding the Roquan Smith situation. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Bears 2018 first round pick is finalizing an agreement with the Bears which will end his holdout. Schefter added that the deal should be finalized sometime later tonight. It's great news for everybody involved as Smith will get some time to catch up with the team and defensive coordinator Vic Fangio before the Bears next preseason game. The reason for the holdout continues to be speculated as guaranteed money. Details of the contract and more to follow.
