"We have our first cut from Chicago Bears camp. The team announced on Monday that they've waived offensive lineman Jeremi Hall who signed with the team after a tryout at rookie minicamp. The 23 year old started 24 games for South Florida in his career and earned first team All-American Athletic Conference in 2017, however wasn't able to earn a Bears roster spot. The team also announced that they've signed linebacker Ro'Derrick Hoskins. Hoskins also participated in the team's rookie minicamp on a tryout bases and has now earned himself an NFL contract. The 23 year old Hoskins wasn't invited to the NFL Scouting Combine because of a pinched nerve in his neck which affected his final two seasons at Florida State. Both positions are positions of need for the Bears, but with the team dealing with some injuries at linebacker, Hoskins was a must sign for the moment.
