With the 2024 NFL Draft approaching in just over two months, the Bears must decide whether to continue with Justin Fields as their starting quarterback or to select a rookie quarterback with the first overall pick. The buzz around Fields intensified after several NFL teams expressed interest in a trade for the former first-round pick during this year's Senior Bowl.
Seth "Freakin" Rollins, a WWE superstar and devoted Bears fan, recently weighed in on the debate. While in Las Vegas for the WrestleMania XL Kickoff at T-Mobile Arena earlier this month, Rollins shared his strong views on Fields' future with the Bears and his preferences for the 2024 NFL Draft. As the current and inaugural WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Rollins also offered his predictions for the upcoming Super Bowl and the teams he expects to compete in the 2025 championship.
"I'm a Fields guy, man," Rollins declared passionately. "I love him, I love what he represents. I believe he has the potential to lead a team to the Super Bowl, and I'd prefer it be my team rather than another. So, I think we should continue to build around him and look forward to making further progress next season."
Regarding the Bears' draft strategy, if they decide to stick with Fields, Rollins advocated for adding another offensive weapon to the team. "I want (Ohio State WR) Marvin Harrison," he stated. "Yeah, Harrison. We definitely could use another wide receiver."
As Rollins prepares for WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia (April 6-7), where he awaits a challenger for his title, his opponent will be determined at the Elimination Chamber event in Perth, Australia, on Saturday.
