After acquiring Khalil Mack from the Chicago Bears, the Bears new linebacker got paid!Mack and the Bears reached a record setting amount as he now becomes the highest paid defensive player in NFL history. The six year deal is worth $141million which works out to $23.5million per year average and contains $90million guaranteed and $60million at signing. After years of watching a struggling John Fox team, it's clear that Bears ownership have given general manager Ryan Pace the green light to get this team back on track. Pace follows up a preseason that included the hiring of Matt Nagy as head coach and the signing of Allen Robinson, Taylor Gabriel and Trey Burton on offense. On Saturday he traded two first round picks to land Mack.
