Matt Nagy Gives Update Regarding QB Competition.
"The Chicago Bears were supposed to have an exciting quarterback competition this preseason however it looks like it's been thrown out the window. Preseason has been cancelled so head coach Matt Nagy will have to name a starter without seeing either guys play any games. Will it be new guy Nick Foles?Or will Nagy let Mitch Trubisky keep the job for now but on an extremely short leash?Nagy spoke about how the cancelation of preseason has made the job hard. The Bears' head coach said he'll pick a starter after monitoring all the reps in practice and the winner will have a short leash no matter how they perform in practice. Nagy mostly spoke in riddle on Wednesday morning but it seems that Trubisky might keep the job for now with Foles jumping in the first chance he gets?Or maybe he's saying the total opposite, it's hard to tell. #Bears head coach Matt Nagy said the altered offseason will have an affect on their QB battle, but they'll be monitoring every single practice rep that Foles and Trubisky take and it the competition will be open.
