"The NFL and NFLPA have given players across the league the opportunity to opt out of the 2020 NFL season because of COVID-19. While there hasn't been many announcements so far, they're starting to fly in Tuesday morning. Four New England Patriots announced this morning that they would be opting out including defensive stud Donta Hightower and now the Chicago Bears have their first playing opting out. Stud defensive tackle Eddie Goldman has informed the Bears he'll be opting out because of health concerns related to COVID-19. It's a big blow for the Bears' defense but of course an understandable decision. The 26 year old will make $150k in salary advance.
