The Bears are coming off of a sad 3-14 season, the worst record in the 2022 season. But, things are looking brighter. The Bears are predicted to have a winning season, with a predicted 12-5 record.
According to NFL Network's Adam Rank, the Bears will win their division and be one of the best teams in the league. Rank is a well known die hard Bears fan, so could this be a biased statment? A little bit yes, and a little bit no. As a fan of any team, you think highly of them. You want them to succeed so bad that you will trick yourself into believing something that isn't true. Though this is the case with many sports fans, I don't believe this is the case for the Bears.
Even though they are coming off of a bad season, they have a bright future. Fields is entering his 3rd season, which is usually when QBs start figuring out the system. The Bears also added some new faces with LB Tremaine Edmunds and WR DJ Moore that will add a new approach to the team. These offseason moves will bring in new life, which is something the Bears need. It is not a long shot for the Bears to have a 12-5 record, especially in their division. Rank may be onto something!
