"The Chicago Bears continue to totally revamp their offense with another huge hire. According to Adam Caplan of ESPN, the Bears have lured Brad Childress out of retirement and hired him to be an offensive consultant with the team. Just last month the Kansas City Chiefs announced that Childress wouldn't be returning for 2018 and would actually be retiring. Childress had been working with Matt Nagy in Kansas since 2013 and it seems the two have a very close relationship and now Childress has left retirement to jump on board with Nagy. It's a return to the NFC for Childress an Aurora native as he coached the Minnesota Vikings from 2006-1010. What do you think of the hiring?
His retirement is short lived: #Bears are expected to hire Brad Childress as an offensive consultant, source said. Nagy and Childress are very close, so it's not exactly a surprise. — Adam Caplan (@caplannfl) February 5, 2018
