This news comes after Buggs was arrested this offseason for domestic violence/burglary charge. He then turned himself in to the police for animal cruelty.
Buggs first entered the NFL after being drafted by the Steelers as their 6th-round pick in 2019. He stayed in Pittsburgh for 3 seasons until being released.
Buggs signed with the Raiders in 2022 but only on the practice squad. He then signed with the Lions that summer and played in all 17 games that season.
Following the 2022 season, Buggs signed a 2-year extension deal with the Lions, but was released during the 2023 season. He then signed with the Chiefs.
Buggs was a member of the Chiefs' last bit of the 2023 season where he was apart of their Super Bowl win.
