Teenager Detained for Attempted Intrusion at Michael Jordan's Highland Park Residence
An 18-year-old male was taken into custody by the Highland Park Police Department after attempting to break into the former residence of basketball icon Michael Jordan in Highland Park, Illinois, on Tuesday.
Raiden K. Hagedorn faces three counts of criminal trespassing and two counts of property damage following the incident, as reported by the Lake & McHenry County Scanner.
Police were alerted to the attempted burglary at Jordan's previous home when concerned neighbors notified the authorities. Upon arriving at the scene, officers arrested Hagedorn, who was later released on bond and is set to appear in court on April 20.
It is important to note that Michael Jordan no longer lives at the property. He put the 56-square-foot estate on the market in 2012. However, the house continues to attract attention due to its distinctive entrance feature, which showcases Jordan's famous jersey number 23. As per Marie Claire, the 60-year-old Chicago Bulls legend now resides in Jupiter, Florida, as a member of the exclusive community known as 'The Bear's Club'.
