"Social media was set on fire Saturday when John Mullin of NBC Sports Chicago reported the Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins were discussing a Jarvis Landry trade. According to Mullin, the deal would be kind of complicated with Landry ending up in Chicago and Jordan Howard on his way to Miami. The teams would also swap first round picks amongst possibly more. While fans have been touting the Landry name for the last month or so, not many would be willing to sacrifice Howard to land him. Luckily for those fans, it doesn't look like Howard is going anywhere. Ian Rapoport reported that the Bears have zero interest in trading Howard to land Landry. To top it off, former Bears scout Greg Gabriel called the whole idea BS. Gabriel tweeted that the rumor stems from a convo overheard by a Dolphins food service employee. While the Bears could still be in on Landry, it definitely looks like any trade they do make, won't involve Howard.
Worth noting: There is zero desire by the #Bears to trade RB Jordan Howard, sources say. Doesn't sound like there will be any splashy Jarvis Landry for Howard deal. — Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) March 3, 2018
