There's been plenty of chatter regarding the Chicago Bears and their quarterback situation since the end of the season. While current quarterback Mitch Trubisky continues to get votes of confidence from general manager Ryan Pace and head coach Matt Nagy, some people want to see somebody else behind center or at least somebody to push Mitch. Well it seems the Bears might feel the same way behind closed doors. Paul Dehner Jr of The Athletic reports that the Bears have had discussions with the Cincinnati Bengals regarding quarterback Andy Dalton. The Bengals are all but guaranteed to be taking Joe Burrow first overall at the 2020 NFL Draft which puts Dalton on the back burner. The connection between Dalton and the Bears is a bit stronger thanks to Bill Lazor, the Bears new OC. Dalton could be what Ryan Tannehill was to the Tennessee Titans last year where he came in and eventually pushed Marcus Mariota out of the starting gig. The cost to land Dalton would likely be a 3rd or 4th round pick. Would you like to see Dalton in a Bears' uniform?
