Bears top 3 focuses on defense heading into matchup against the Texans
The bears will be playing primetime football Sunday night as they take on the powerhouse offense of the Texans.
The Bears defense shined bright against the Titans but will have a tougher task at hand against the Texans.
There are 3 main focuses for the Bears to shut down the Texans offense in their week 2 matchup. First, they need to utilize blitzes to pressure QB CJ Stroud as much as possible since he could be dangerous when given too much time in the pocket. Secondly, they need to be able to shut down the Texans running game since they will already be dealing with the main problem which is the Texans passing game. Finally, they will need to take full advantage of their opportunities when shutting down the Texans offense since it will not happen too often during the game.
This matchup will be a great test for the Bears as this will give them a good idea of where they team is at two weeks into the season as the Texans are loaded team that know how to score.
