Caleb Williams had an exceptional preseason for the Chicago Bears, and now, fans are comparing his attitude to that of Justin Fields, who now plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
After playing his first preseason with the Bears, Fields infamously said that the game was slower than he imagined. This was only for him to look awful when playing in the regular season. Well, Williams was recently asked a similar question, and it led to an answer that was full of humility. Essentially, he explained how it's a lot more difficult to read defenses and that the game is extremely fast. However, he is grinding away day by day and each drive has been an opportunity to learn.
This is a mindset that will definitely serve him well, moving forward. Hopefully, Williams can live up to the hype this season as all eyes are on him and the Bears.
