Even during his college days last season, QB Caleb Williams has been compared to many different players in the NFL, especially Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes.

Now, as the Bears' new starting QB, Williams is under a ton of pressure to become the next big thing, and has spoken about the comparisons he faces to Mahomes:

As heard, Williams sees it as a compliment due to Mahomes' unique talent and winning capabilities. Williams sees it as a form of respect. However, he does want to be seen as his own person and just be "Caleb Williams."

Williams was drafted by the Bears as the 1st-overall pick this offseason. He is coming into Chicago as their new leader, bringing a different kind of energy that this team has not seen yet.
