DJ Moore fell just short of this prestigious NFL list
DJ Moore was one of the best offensive weapons for the Chicago Bears last season and he is poised for another big year with Caleb Williams as his quarterback.
According to Patrick McAvoy of Sporting News, Moore was hit with a bit of an honor. The star was named an honorable mention on the ESPN Top Wide Receivers in the NFL list. While he did not make the final list, he was at least given a nice mention.
In Jeremy Fowler's piece, he goes on to note how Moore had a phenomenal season with the Bears despite poor quarterback play. With someone like Williams at the helm, he could very well be in for a career-year. Only time will tell whether or not he lives up to that hype.
"An underrated playmaker with four 1,000-yard seasons despite uneven quarterback play throughout his career," Fowler said. "Gave Chicago a bona fide No. 1 option with 1,364 yards in 2023. 'Has the ability to take a game completely over,' an NFL executive said."
