The Bears GM Ryan Poles did a great job this off-season of putting together a team that will truly be able to compete next season.
Poles signed multiple great players such as Keenan Allen, D'Andre Swift and Rome Odunze.
While the offense looks great they will need to add a few pieces on defense especially for pass rushers as they only have Montez Sweat but have no one to pair him with. There is rookie Austin Booker but he only started 1 season in college meaning he is likely not ready, which leaves only DeMarcus Walker.
Wannstedt said in a recent interview that despite the need for another pass rusher, the Bears should not rush into grabbing any player and should take their time finding the right player. He believes a pass rusher is not that big of a focal point for the defense and they will still be able to run their schemes without 2 elite rushers.
