As read in his article, Edholm believes that the hype around Williams is too big right now, as he thinks Williams will take longer to adjust.
Edholm compares Williams to Packers QB Jordan Love, as he believes Williams will have a similar start to his rookie year that Love had:
Love was not a powerhouse the moment he stepped on the field, but as time went on, he was able to find his groove and become a potential franchise QB.
Edholm worries that the hype around Williams having an Andrew Luck star studded kind of rookie season will give fans too big of an exception when in reality, Edholm sees Williams taking longer to adjust to the NFL.
