As heard, Wright believes that the Bears can win the NFC North this upcoming season even with QB Caleb Williams being a rookie.
Wright mentions how QBs like Russell Wilson and CJ Stroud were able to lead their teams to the playoffs in their respective rookie seasons, so why can't Williams?
Williams is heading into his rookie year with the best possible scenario a QB can have. He has Pro Bowlers and standout receivers, a Pro Bowler RB, a top 5 TE, and a young and motivated OL. He also has a respectable offensive coaching staff, along with a HC who has a ton to prove. Williams is the new face of this franchise and he has a great supporting cast around him.
I expect Williams to help lead the Bears to a playoff appearance and even win the NFC North.
