Rome Odunze receives devastating injury diagnosis

Earlier today, we reported that Chicago Bears rookie wide receiver Rome Odunze was undergoing an MRI on his knee for an injury sustained during Week 1.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, it has been confirmed that Odunze has a sprained MCL. Now, he will be week-to-week which means you will not be seeing him this upcoming weekend.

For now, fans will just have to be patient when it comes to his recovery. Only time will tell if he is a fast healer. Instead, the team will now rely on wide receivers like DJ Moore and Keenan Allen, as well as tight end Cole Kmet.
